HAVAL H5 Gasoline SUV

We have recently learned that the new HAVAL H5 Gasoline SUV model from Haval has been officially launched, with a total of two models available, including gasoline and diesel versions.

The highlights of the newly added models are as follows. The gasoline version, named the Leading Four-wheel Drive version, offers optional differential lock, fixed side step, and ETC. The diesel Leading Four-wheel Drive version, on the other hand, brings a new optional package, including the Comfort Upgrade Package, the Technology Upgrade Package, and the Convenience Package, which includes electric seat adjustment for the driver's seat, front seat heating, front side airbags, an openable panoramic sunroof, electric power steering, L2-level intelligent driving assistance, 18-inch wheels, keyless entry for the driver's seat, keyless start, mobile phone remote control, one-touch operation for the driver's window and anti-pinching, and 6 speakers plus a subwoofer.

For reference, the all-new HAVAL H5 Gasoline SUV from Hafei was officially launched in August 2023. The car has dimensions of 5190mm x 1905mm x 1835mm, with a wheelbase of 3140mm, and is positioned as a large SUV. It also boasts a 25 degree approach angle, a 22 degree departure angle, a 200mm ground clearance, and a 600mm water depth. In terms of power, the car is equipped with a 2.0T engine, with the gasoline version producing 218 horsepower (160 kilowatts) and paired with an 8AT transmission. The diesel version produces 166 horsepower (122 kilowatts). The chassis is non-bearing and is equipped with a front double wishbone independent suspension and a rear five-link rigid axle suspension, and will be equipped with a part-time four-wheel drive system and an Eaton mechanical differential lock.
